The loading area is 1,000 mm wide to avoid the piece coming too close to the structure of the machine, which could result in a collision due to hunting oscillation. We also provide a top layer of the plate in polystone. The work surface has a plate of hardened steel and features a perforated surface to facilitate the positioning of the piece between the supports. Then the laser can mark – in an absolutely safe way – the area tvia the lens or using the X movement along a 600 mm axis. The piece can be easily loaded with a block and tackle and then slid into the marking cabin. The carriage can be moved manually or by an optional pneumatic system, and has two supports that allow for the precise positioning and blocking of the pieces to avoid movement, especially during the loading phase. The loading system has a base on the side with a platform that slides along a 20-caliber STAR/REXROTH rail system. The TowerSlideX has the traditional Z and X movements (but inside a more robust structure) with the addition of a part on the side for the sliding carriage. It makes it much easier to place these kinds of pieces into the machine. It has been created for those that need to mark very heavy pieces or very large pieces. The TowerSlide X is a variation on the TowerMark X system.
